Terms & Conditions
Last updated September 16, 2026
The short version. These terms cover this website. They are not your contract for work — that is the written proposal you sign, and it governs. The calculators here produce estimates, not quotes.
What these terms cover
These terms govern your use of https://criticalpowerhtx.com. They are not a contract for work.
If you hire us, the agreement that binds both of us is the written proposal you sign — its scope, price, exclusions and warranty terms. Nothing on this website changes that document, and if this page and your signed proposal ever disagree, the proposal wins.
Estimates and calculators
This site includes a generator sizing calculator and a financing payment estimator. Both produce estimates. Neither produces a quote, and neither is an offer.
The sizing calculator runs a standard NEC dwelling-unit load calculation from the figures you enter. It is a genuinely useful starting point and it is not a substitute for somebody looking at your actual panel, your service size, your gas supply and where a unit can legally sit on your property. The binding number comes from a site visit.
The financing estimator applies Synchrony Bank's published promotional plan terms to an amount you choose. Actual payments, promotional availability and approval are Synchrony Bank's decisions, not ours. We do not make the credit decision, we do not see your application, and we cannot promise an outcome. Their terms govern.
Pricing referenced anywhere on this site, including service plan pricing, may change. The price that applies to you is the one on your written proposal.
Using this site
Use it for its purpose: to learn about our services and to get in touch. Do not attempt to break it, scrape it at a rate that degrades it for others, submit false information through the form, or use it to send anything unlawful.
The quote form is for genuine enquiries. Automated submissions are blocked and discarded.
Accuracy of what you read here
We put real effort into keeping this site accurate — license and certification details, service area, code references and process descriptions. Codes change, manufacturer programs change, and local permitting requirements differ by jurisdiction and get revised.
Treat everything here as general information about how this work is done, not as engineering advice for your specific property. Do not rely on it to size, specify or install equipment yourself.
If you spot something on this site that is wrong, please tell us. We would rather fix it.
Licensing
Critical Power Solutions LLC holds Texas Electrical Contractor license TECL #37583, issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Electrical work in Texas must be performed by appropriately licensed people, and that includes generator installation and the transfer switch.
Manufacturer credentials referenced on this site are current as described. Dealer status and training programs are administered by the manufacturers and can change.
Content on this site
The text, photographs, layout and code are ours or licensed to us. The job photography is of our own work. Please do not copy it for use on another contractor’s website.
Generac, Kohler and Cummins are trademarks of their respective owners. We reference them because we sell and service their equipment; this site is not published or endorsed by them.
Links to other sites
Some links leave this site — to manufacturers, to Synchrony Bank for financing applications, or to our profiles on third-party platforms. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Their terms apply once you are there.
Liability
This website is provided as is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and to the extent Texas law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the site itself or from reliance on general information published here.
This section is about the website. It does not limit our obligations under any contract for work we perform for you, and it does not limit liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute about this website will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Fort Bend County, Texas.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and the current version is the one that applies.
