Bid and build from your drawings
Most of our commercial work starts the same way: a general contractor or a tenant sends a plan set out for bid, and we price the electrical scope off the engineered drawings. We read the one-lines, the panel schedules and the reflected ceiling plan, scope it properly, and give you a number you can put in a bid package.
Then we build it. The crew doing the work holds the same license that signed the bid, which means one point of accountability from pricing through to the inspector signing off.
What we scope
- Lighting
- Layout from the reflected ceiling plan, fixtures, emergency and egress lighting, occupancy sensors and controls.
- Power distribution
- Panels, feeders, branch circuits, receptacles, dedicated circuits for equipment.
- Service
- New service, service upgrades, meter and main coordination with the utility.
- Equipment connections
- Making final connections to owner- and vendor-supplied equipment — kitchen, medical, retail fixtures.
- Low voltage rough-in
- Conduit and boxes for data, security and AV where the drawings call for it.
- Standby power
- Where the scope includes a generator or ATS, it is the same contractor and the same license.

The part that is actually unusual: we run a generator business and an electrical contracting business under one license. When a finish-out includes standby power — a clinic that cannot lose refrigeration, a restaurant that cannot lose a walk-in — the generator, the transfer switch and the branch work are all one contractor. No coordinating between two trades who each think the other owns the interface.
Working with a GC
We are used to being a sub on a finish-out schedule: coordinating rough-in around framing and mechanical, hitting inspection dates, and dealing with the reality that the schedule moves. If you are a general contractor looking for an electrical sub in Fort Bend or Harris County, we are set up for that.
Getting a number
Send the plan set — or a link to the plan room — along with the bid date and any addenda. If you have a scope letter or a schedule of values format you want the number in, tell us and we'll match it. We will come back with questions if the drawings are ambiguous rather than burying an assumption in the price.
