We are a Generac Authorized Dealer and Kohler Certified — so unlike a single-brand dealer, we have no reason to steer you toward one over the other.

GeneracAuthorized Dealer

Air-cooled 10–26 kW, liquid-cooled up to 150 kW

The most widely installed standby brand in the US, and the one we fit most often. Guardian and PowerPact air-cooled units cover the majority of homes; the Protector liquid-cooled range handles larger houses and commercial buildings. As an Authorized Dealer we carry warranty service directly.

KohlerCertified

Air-cooled 14–26 kW, liquid-cooled up to 60 kW and beyond

Kohler build quality has a strong reputation, particularly around the alternator and enclosure. The RCA-series air-cooled units are the residential mainstay. We are Kohler Certified, so warranty work on Kohler equipment also comes through us.

Cummins

Heavy commercial and industrial standby

We also sell and service Cummins equipment, which tends to come up on heavier commercial and industrial projects where the load profile is beyond what the residential-derived ranges handle comfortably. Our manufacturer certifications are with Kohler and Generac specifically; Cummins work is sales and service.

Choosing

Which one should you actually buy?

Honestly: for most homes, either Generac or Kohler will do the job well, and the decision usually comes down to what size is available in the range you need, lead time, and price on the day. Both are properly engineered standby systems with national parts support.

What matters considerably more than the badge is whether it was sized correctly, whether the gas supply can carry it, and whether it gets serviced. A well-sized, well-maintained generator of either brand will outlast a badly installed one of the other.
