Why one contractor for both

Most generator companies in this market only do generators. Most electrical contractors do not do standby power properly. That split is normally your problem to manage — two subs, two schedules, and an interface at the transfer switch that each one assumes the other owns.

Working to your schedule

We are used to being a sub on a finish-out program: rough-in coordinated around framing and mechanical, inspection dates hit, and the understanding that the schedule will move at least twice. If you need a scope letter or a schedule-of-values format, tell us and we will match it.

Standby power in new homes

Specifying a generator during the build is considerably cheaper and cleaner than retrofitting one. The gas line can be sized and routed while the trench is already open, the pad goes in with the other flatwork, and the transfer switch is installed alongside the panel rather than cut in later.

In Fort Bend's master-planned communities it also avoids the HOA problem entirely — approval for exterior mechanical equipment is far easier as part of the original submission than as a change afterwards.
